really happy if u like thoses haha ; i have several others to add but as it s quite long process i prefer to ask your opinion; do u like if i add thoses ?:

-Zedmasters soundtracks (remember the music theme on BFGs forum? + several others)

-skaven musics: (the author of razorback! i found at least 6 lethal soundtracks to add on new maps ;original razorback include)

-some ut99 themes are missing (example:botmca9 aka phobos original soundtrack)

-some ut2004 themes are lethal (ex: bridge of fate :p)

can u believ me if i tell you that i am listening a UT mix of all that stuff since quite 2 month....without been bored in anyway....crazzzzzy!

Yeah I can believe that YOU still listen to those , I still got those on ma harddrive also , but I dont listen to them ,  I think Morpheus was my favourite , ahhhhhh long live morpheus (the map) happy times.

I was wondering...

I have the UT GOTY edition so all tracks are there.

Is there a free tool available to listen / convert them without actually play the game ???

I would like to add a classic track in one of my map.

Ha ha, the computer specialist as found what he was searching for !

After my post, I start to search for a free tool, and guest what...... I found one biggrin

It took me 15 mins to found it & test it smile

The tool is free & support music file used for Unreal tech (uax / umx).

I'm starting to listen to them all to select which one I like to be use in the future.

Will probably edit them after, I'll see. Now, I just save the file in WAV to ear them.

The tool is called MODPlug Tracker & you can found it here.

There is a player but the extract / file as a common format isn't supported.

It's cool to ear the credits track. Damn, there so damn nice !

I'm surprise you found all of that on 1 database on the net.

Razorback must as been release a part because it's not in the original GOTY. There is only Razor-ub in the bunch.

I also like trance / techno / triphop / electro so can you mention some of the other titles :)

nope!...haha... on several databases mate ! that s why i uploaded my fav here; dont forget to check ut2k4 ones ;they are some old classics (morpheus3 & bridge of fate kick ze butt)

btw as the target is not to have the longest listing ( u have note that some tittles are ennuyous; repetitive or too "menu-ish") but to share with thoses who havent ut previous editions feel free to edit the first post and to add links to thoses u especially like and want to share....the upload process is long so if we all add our favs we ll share a top list ;)

thoses in the first post are mainly the "classics" + my personnal favorites ( i tryed to be "objective" though and to only add thoses that u can use aka soundtracks for mapping

razorback isnt a epic track bro ;i found it ages ago while typing the name of the author (skaven) on google.i found his site and lot of good other songs; nothing else was used in ut but all have a UT side. i use one for lost twins; it s energic music haha^^
Epics copyrighted skavens razorback tittle with the razor-ub "revisted edition" (more hard rock oriented).

i have install the audio converter u showed us to see if i can grab some extras more from custom maps...i have not hunt for now but i tryed the tool and wow the interface is simple, clear & very easy to use...good catch

just for my personnal info let me know what are ur fav tittles

Indeed, the interface is very clean & easy to use.

I didn't tried the tool on UT2004 yet. I presume it work well.

Good thing you list the songs related with the maps because I wouldn't know it even if I ear those music a lot :)

I do not have a preference in all that list because I like them all. Still by listening the music, I really like Crash99, CrashTC, Zan_b, ZAN_MET & Zan_oc but I dunno on which map they're associated. I think I'll use one of them in Citius :D

Came across an interesting artist: Xcentric Noizz his music similar to zynthetic in style and licence as far as I can tell (?).

This album FOnlineOST had a few songs that might work in a map. Their a little on the short side (~3min) but with a bit of work would still fit.

I've finally listened few songs, indeed, it's close to zynthetic style & I found a perfect track for my Itarion map aww Only thing is the audio quality is rather low but since it's free, I won't complain lol
