Full rebuild take 35 mins now. I maxed out lightmaps & got rid of weird BSP seams and bad looking shadows on meshes and it look damn awesome I must say !
It's a simple layout with simple geometry but with fast gameplay. I'm mostly done with this map. As Mégane, I'll release a pre-final here so my UOF friends will be the first to play it

I'm at work now but my PC spec are mentioned in all my finals maps readme's Last week, I had to put back my old GF 9800GT 512 MB because my ATI 4870 1GB have some editor issues & FPS are still good with 4 players with my old GPU

I'm confident indeed but I'm also prudent so releasing at least 1 pre-final is always wise to get rid of any possible issues

The latest update looks amazing - a vast improvement in excess of my expectations
The simple design and the careful use of bright colours makes this a delight to behold. Well done progressing such a beautiful map, I look for to trying it out.

I too really like the lighting. The worst is, compare from my previous maps, it is much simplier. But I guess that for such a small map, it's enough. I use 1 skylight and only 2 directional light. Will add another DL & do some testing but it should be about it after.

I like very much playing CTF but I found it much longer to build than DM because everytime I make a change on 1 side, I must replicate the same damn thing on the other side, which annoy me sometime. That is why I prefer mapping for DM than anything else. But I must say that when I finish a CTF map, I'm happy
I also prefer reverse CTF a tad more than regular CTF. If I make another CTF, it wouild probably be another small R-CTF

Nobody says you must ;) There are enough non-similar-side CTF maps out there.
This is really coming along nicely. I stand by my previous post.I CANNOT WAIT TO PLAY THIS!!! Something about the UT2K4 look. So clean and vibrant. I love it. Great work.
Mariane (the lava map) as been put aside for some time. I'm busy on other UT stuff but I'll get to it after. Meanwhile, I'll collect all feedback ya know

THX too I decided not to release in November but rather at the beginning of December. There are some stuff I want to try. In the end, you'll get a better map

In November when I posted the latest pics, I thought I would release the pre-final the 12/12/12. Still, at that date, I was enjoying life with my girlfriend. Then, since December, my mapping time is almost none because real life keep me busy.
This month, CBP3 vol 5 was a surprise & I was asked to beta test the pack in private before the public release. I didn't had the time to test all the maps from the pack, sadly so even less time to work on my stuff.
So, the community have a new bunch of awesome maps from the CBP3 team & the holidays are only in 1 week.
Still, this map is practically 99% finish, only the preview pic & readme is missing. I ask myself if releasing the map now would be a good idea, I'm afraid it would be almost unnoticed & play by few peeps only ?

Well, I'll release it in 2013, like the 2 - 3. I would release it the 1st but I won't be at home, it's my dad birthday
I change my mind & will release the final, a pre-final isn't necessary for this map. I'll release a 1.1 version if something serious is found but afaik, it play & flow very well. At the time of this writing, it's already finished lol My blog is also updated
Will begin working on something else soon
