Kepler NDA has been lifted some minutes ago (6 a.m. californian time)

Some benchmarks from engl sites:

Lets hope this will bring movement into the market and pricing of HD7xx0 cards. I was waiting for new AMD cards since many weeks but the price was just scaring for me regarding the performance no

Some weeks ago, I was reading the Kepler architecture would be very powerful. Damn, it's really a beast reading the reviews !

At least, I'll know what GPU family to buy when I'll upgrade my rig surely later this year since my current Radeon 4870 play UT3 nicely in 1680*1050.

For me it's not yet clear wheather to go with AMD or Nvidia cards. GTX680 is like ~10% faster in average but also more expensive than HD7970.
What's bugging me is the pricing of HD7950 cards, which are available for 380€ here. Smaller cards are not really faster as their predecessors but have the same prices (f.e. HD7870~300€/HD6970~280€), so it's not worth the gfx upgrade performance wise :(
Upcoming nvidia cards like GTX670/660 might change the situation, hopefully.

agree, no idea why prices still so high on previous series....they probably try to prevent our tactic to buy the previous series when a new one is born...
i still surprised about AMD very high prices politic as their cards are always a lil less powerfull....quite sucidal imo +.+...but again 6xx and 7xxx are "just born" and like u said , time will play for us...@ least i hope so biggrin

They changed their price tactics this time. Cards have been always offered at low prices at the previous generations (HD3000-HD6000) but now they want to make money too ^^
Nvidia actually lowered the prices of the 'old' cars, GTX580 starts at 333€ here and GTX570 at 230€.

GTX660 Ti has been released last week and AMD did lower prices finally,
HD7950 ~265€
HD7870 ~220€
GTX660 Ti ~ 285€

Just got my wife a 7770HD to replace her old 4870HD.
Only about a 30-50% increase in some areas but I wanted her to play GW2 with all options on.
Haven't done any benches though!

Yes, I think it's close behind a HD6850, but definetely a good advantage over HD4000 series cards.

HD7850 also seems to become a nice deal for 165€/185€ (1GB/2GB) here.

Kepler is awesome, but compared to the last generation of Nvidia GPUs also more expensive. Sure, Kepler is very fast and efficient, but more than 250 Euros for a 660 Ti, hell. I hope the GTX660 is going to be cheaper, because I prefer to buy a GPU for max 200 Euros and not more. Despite that, all my current games do not need that huge amount power of a 660 Ti, because my GTX550 Ti does a great job in Mass Effect and Unreal. Anyway, let's see about that!

Still got my GTX 560 for sale - brand new - if anybody wants it.
- still got reciept + warranty- reason for sale, too busy to use it/

- i was really happy with my GTX 560TI AMP! once it returned from the OEM, now i want another one for SLI - purely to see if it does anything.
