Please note that the woodwork is unlit (and quick/badly uv-mapped). It just serves as a placeholder for more detailed (vertex-lit) meshes and shadow+radiosity color casting on the lightmaps
Just a small thought... I don't really know how people feel about vehicles in regular DM
Since I was planning for a Raptor and 2 minigun Turrets (with bigger vehicleDamage to take the raptor out and smaller health to be taken out by regular fire)
So, let me know if I should stick with the Idea or abandon it.
I've just got Permission from Kirill Pokrovsky (compositor of Divine Divinity RPG's and EGO Draconis DKS) to use one of his songs in my map. That will make for at least 1 tier of the atmosphere

lacking a lil of contasts enlighted areas / darkness but as it s in beta i bet u ve not finish the lighting for the rest the result is really eyecandy m8, congratz
-Woodworks+small details, -Emitters, -Item placement+pathing, blocking volumes and optimisation. But that'll wait until I'm back from vacation, then I hope to release a first playable Beta.
Here is a playable alpha version still some meshwork to do (interior/wood/windows/etc + details) Texture work and lighting for players.(meshes are special-lit, with lightmaps on UV2) Let me know your opinions.
So, I've decided to start mapping for UT3 (although I still prefer playing UT2k4)... Now the first map I am working on is a remake (not a port) of my first released UT2k4 map (as a sort of wink) My other 2 maps (village and mall) will still be worked on and I'll try to wrap up village from the moment my stationmap for UT3 is a first Beta.
Now here are some sneak peaks ...
Cordially, MDK
PS. @Blitz, Would it be possible to change this thread name? like just "MDK1311"? THX in advance.
did a try on ur AMDK village and i must say that i m pretty impressed by the job u ve done i like the layout the global looking and it was very fun to play bots there ur jumpads are nice too some comments on what i like less: -not sure if vehicles (even looked ones :D) fit to the athmo of the map, it s quite disharmonious to me...i was expecting something more ...hm...medieval^^ -..nothing more haha
Concerning the vehicles, I've already scrapped them in the current version (not yet available) also a major overhaul of Bot-Pathing to do + the final details, weather and light-fixtures. But as stated somewhere above I'll wrap this map up once my first-UT3 map will be Beta. And for your pleasure Here is another screenie
(I know the shadows aren't yet what it ought to be)
Small update: First early-beta is available HERE Still a whole list of to-do's
Just posted this too see where the FPS/bottleneck problems are. So let me know and I'll try to fix the issues when possible, Now I can finally start wrapping up the village
@Blitz, Would it be possible to send me a pic of your goat-cheese and it's etiquette?? (to use in AMDK-Village (inside the auberge) and a wink to the UOF) Cordially, MDK

@all THX, for the support, I'm Almost done with the Vendanges (only tomorrow then friday the "pampaillet" (= feast/meal offered by the Chateau-owner) ) So I'll post some pics soon of the cheese in the village ;) Cordially, MDK
MDK the last serie of pict is top notch, i like a lot the "violet" tone in some, the cutted englited/darkness limit on others i dunno exactly what is the theme, remind me some mexican westerns under some angles haha, big sun! are thoses chairs and tables gonna be "destructible"? thx for sharing and keep up the good work
@Blitz the "shockers and snipers" map is DM-AMDK-RiftCity Final available via EpicGames, Map-factory.org and UTzone.de .
That last series of pics is a project for a small map-pack and is currently in a private Beta stage. (if you want I can send you a download link). note that for that series of screens, I tried to implement some sort of day/night cycle ^^
Anyways, I'll let you peeps know when this is going final.
