Description:Since the first pack was well received by the UT3 community, the UOF team as decide to make a second pack. As the first, this pack is intended to be primarily a fun group project made by a great bunch of friends that combines several different mapping styles.

Well, we started to work on pack 2 only 1 week after pack 1 was released last year. The initial release date was earlier, like January & after February but since crew members had all sort of stuff happening in real life, we had to delay the pack until April 1st.
If there is a pack 3, we will let you know, your contribution would be much appreciated :D
I hope Fatima will satisfy your expectation :)

Hey steve and mate XD I signed here to say good news new mappack XD many thanks for this nice present
Steve watch those rocks lighting if the daylight is strong maybe you could put some slight contrast towards sunlight and some cast shadow for the rocks in the outdoor part in ctf-fatima map... dunno if is finished or not, I see like those rocks appears like "plain" ( yeah yeah I know the rocks is dark itself, Im referring the set of daylight towards those rocks Im no sure if that daylight is evening or morning O.o) If this can help look at those walls and pillars you designed with their shadows and strenght lights as a simple guide
About Fatima, well, I put a lot of time in the lighting department. You will be able to appreciate the real result ingame shortly ;) No worries, I won't bite ya lol

Wow! Impressive! *drool* Can't wait for this great looking map pack to be released Maybe for the next UOF Map Pack I'll contribute a map (if this is possible). But first I'll have to make myself more familiar with the UT3Ed (and this can take a while... I can't find those §%"! semi-solid brushes in Unreal Engine 4 -are they really gone?).
Oh.. stupid me, I didn't think of that simple trick even though I use it in the other UEds too. Thanks a lot! Now I can start mapping like in UE1 and 2
Wow, that was I long time since I saw a screenshot of a map that doesn't looked like a typical UT3 map. Your map don't look like others, and that's a good point.
Why do I think "You Must Construct Additional Pylons!"?

The map is actually a very heavily modified remake of my first UT3 map "Orbital Deconstruction" but changed to suit the Warfare gametype!
Our group is proud of this new pack and we have a nice assortment of themed variety across all the maps! Expect anywhere from 'Tron like tech' to 'polished' old skool!

Well, the reactions must be pretty funny. You: "Today is my birthday! " The person you're talking with: "You're kidding me, It's April 1st! I won't give you a present - I'm not dumb!"
Btw, did you guys consider making awesome maps for UT99 and UT2004 too?
I still play older UT's but for mapping, I don't see the point of mapping for old games. It's already a shame the UT3 Editor is so much obsolete comparing to UDK. For the same amount of time, if UDK was as complete as UT3, meaning the asset library would be available with a basic GUI, I would map with UDK instead. You can do so much more & the result way much better.
