well just is a map with a basic layout. like more a map from quake live but run very well in UT3 DM with 6 players,  plese leave ur feedback  (:

Just tested against 3 bots, your layout are always rock !

the map is small as I like, very intense and a lot of action !

I will not comment on the visual aspect now, I have just 2 comments on the layout/flow actually.

First, all your jumpad need some tweaks, an example :

I suggest to try to reduce the collision cylinder of it, OR reduce the aircontrol of its.

About the Udamage :

Can you explain if a mutator is needed or how you grab it, or if I'm too old to jump higher than that lol ?!

I managed to get it with 2 hammerjumps (first one to the boxes, not visible in your screenshot but to the right of the flak cannon).

A bit too hard though imo.

And as Seb mentioned, jumppads barely gets you over the walls. I'd increase the jumptime slightly.

hehe well yes, thx guys, ill make more small the colision radius of the some jump pads.... and well im not a good friend of the amp but u can get the amp without any mutator lol xD just need a combo of double jump+walldodge like this video http://www.xfire.com/video/3be415/ , is hard but posible, becouse the map is on the server that i play allways, and a guy called jarred fared abuse all the time of the amp, the dificulty  is just is a samall revenge :p, ok i hope more opinions  THX for ur time (:

just tryed it to test my PC..haha^^

nice flow like always

the layout is nice and a flying monkey feels home there :p

100fps everywhere all long biggrin

for the UDamage i grabbed it before reading ur explications:wall dodge from the jumpad on the "box" and hammer jump from the box to the amp...was fun to do it but it could be very hard in fights.if i can succed to grab it my children was both in pain to redo it :p...

-i dont like the enlighted neons leaving on the floor, it makes no sence as they are unplugged :p

-the BV covering the curved staircases is too high, looks like bots are floating over it

-the old corroded grids to block the access to "under the staircases" looks a bit cheap and dont accord to the theme....+ u plugged em in the floor like knifes in a cheese piece....not realistic imo wink.gif

-the jumpad that send ya in the wall dont work for bots: they do neverending "up & downs" there

for the rest this will be another keeper for sure; keep up the good job bro wink.gif

i mean u have not adjusted them , it s like if they have penetrated the floor as easily as a knife can enter in a piece of cheese...it s not reallistic because metal cant enter this way in another metal piece (or it need some lazer or fusion haha)

I gave it a go and like the overall layout. It's nice and compact, for some intense fights.

The jump pads have too much air control? and the bots have issues using, which effects my fun factor.

Some of the walkways are a bit skinny and should be covered up or removed (I know your not finished building the map).

The Udamage is hard to get, but possible, so I don't mind the trade off.

I didn't pay attention to the details yet, but will in a later build.

I did like the those boxes though, very cool.

Keep up the good work.

p.s. B!tz's jokes are wasted on the wrong language! biggrin

Odedge i forget updated the file, but i fixed the jump pads and i change the geometry too,i change the pst process volume too but i think that the floor looks very dark now :/. thx alot anyway :)!!

I just played the "RC" version and the map is looking pretty good.

The 2 biggest concerns I have are:

  • Some subtle ambient sounds would be nice (wind).  This is noticeable when there are a few players.
  • BSP looks a bit rough.  Some trimming along the edges would help in the visual department.
I forgot to mention this before, but those are some really cool jump pads!

Tested your map the other day great work can't post much info atm.

On holiday in the Top end of Australia so here just one thing the
Iorn fence does fit very well into the map thats my manger help from where I'm at.
