just some words to let you know that MSIs new mobos are abble to handdle both AMD & Nvidia GFXs and more fun to mix em together! all that on p55 or AM3 sockets
dunno for you but my next one will probably be one of thoses + in add u ll have military components
fyi i buy only MSI gfxs since ages for my sis and myself(2x8800gts320;2x8800gtZilent;2x9800GTX+;1x9800GTX;2x285GTXsuperPipe) and i never had anykind of problem with em;thoses that i still have here home still working like german mechanics
Only 1 issue though. If I recall correctly Nvidia decided to be d1cks and won't let you use a nvidia card as a dedicated physx card if you're using an AMD gfx card as your primary.... I'd like to think they've reverted that decision...
I read an article recently that said Nvidia and Intel were in a legal battle recently about mobo chipsets so I'm guessing that may explain the lack of nvidia based components on mobos atm. It sounded like Intel were in the wrong and have settled out of court! Dunno the repercussions of this for the future though??
from what i have read u have better results while using the hydra and 2GFX than while using nvidia SLI or ATI Xfire with those GFX + the freedom to mix nvidia & ati + the freedom to uses different gfx series together
imho this is the beginning of the end for onboard chipsets...and Nvidia seem to confirm that...nothing new since ages, even asus is using the hydra for first time on highests mobos
