Well,

To add moss on the floor, logically, there is supposed to have lot's of plants, small trees, leaking water tank, foliage & such to be credible.

Since we're located on top of a building roof in downtown where there is plenty of wind & no humidity, the moos make no sense.

Also, the moss would had to be on the walls & on the floors to be realistic so that's why it doesn't fit imho & TBH it look less good than the last textures used.

For me, the moss on the floor look out of place, the previous subtle material is much better.

Regarding the extra patches of moss, I plan to leave them out. They don't quite fit with the rest of the building. Also, including them is just that much more that might hurt performance or not render as expected. At this point I want to keep changes as trivial as possible.

Your rooftop garden gives the impression of a well kept garden so I'd expect the floors to be realtivily clean.

Barring any major issues, this is the final build.

Download: DM-HardFall

After verifying it online, I'll create release threads on BU, Epic, and here.

Changes versus RC5 include:
  • Improved floor and yellow brick textures on the garden building.
  • Adjusted sounds (birds, wind, etc).
  • Less pixelized sun glow.
  • Updated readme.

Bl!tz, can you put it on the server for me to test?

That's a good question. The bulk of my posts have been on BU, so that is my initial intuition. UOF is an excellent forum, but I think fewer people will see your comments here.

I like how the moss looks but as Blitz mentioned, it depends on your taste. I say if you like it, keep it. If not, then don't.

Thx for the link, i was surprised to see the discussion about CTF-UOF-AndAction! seems like even though a few people tried to diss the map <can't blame them, CTF 'arena style' isn't for everyone> - quite a few more had some good laughs - makes it well worth my efforts. ;)

Keep up the good work with your releases, hope to see more of your quality work in the future. :)
