A thread for anyone who plays Guildwars and knows a good build to use..

I've been getting back into it recently after finding a good Underworld Solo farming build for collecting ecto (which are going for 6k atm). 
Anyone who'se a regular Guildwars player knows that all farming builds get nerfed eventually so if you're a player who has a Rit, Nec or Ele character give the build a try.  You just need to have Rit as primary or secondary profession and have a decent amount of energy.

The build is a spirit farmer and it'll pretty much kill anything in the starting areas and surrounding areas. (eg.. Aataxes, Skeletons of Dhurman, Graspings, Terror Webs, Behemoths etc...) It'll do Smites and Cold fires as well with a bit of persistance.

It's a case of dump the spirits then lure and watch'em drop.  I've managed to clear the 1st chamber of everything in about 12 minutes using the build.

The elite skill is in Factions and is pretty quick to cap if you don't already have it.

LMFAO of at how AreaNet bands bots in the game! The mods spawn a Grim Reaper which burns the bots up. Looks wicked!

There's been some new info Posted up about Guildwars2 over the last few weeks.
Can't wait til it hits beta or demo cuz I'll be putting my hand up for that!!
Expect my mapping to hit a standstill when GW2 comes out. buggered.gif

Dude i'm getting enthusiastic about this one, the thing i respect about the GW series is that its a free MMO game - (basically = buy the game and get free access to online play - reminds me of the old days when Battlenet was free)

Good times.

I doubt they will sell out like Blizzard did with the WOW series and evidently they're trying to do with StarCraft II.

But yeah DW spent many of hours when GW game came out in 2004 / 2005 playing this awesome game, - the expansions for the first game are good as well.

Can't say i blame ya m8! (for taking a haitus when this one gets released)

Reports have been very positive for the game so far so it sounds like they've delivered as promised!

..and yes it's subscription free so it'll be interesting to see if players who are sick of paying a monthly fee for games like WoW will defect to GW2!

I'll be pre-ordering 2 copies of the collectors edition as soon as the stores here start promoting it. Fingers crossed for a christmas release date!

One good thing they are doing is they're incorporating their concept art into the in-game cinematics creating a 2D/3D blend. Excellent way to re-use all that artwork that would otherwise sit quietly in a corner somewhere.

ArenaNet revealed one of the new professions today.  Titled the Engineer.

Technical issues aside...The Guild Wars 2 Beta was pretty farken good! biggrin biggrin

I know it's comparing apples to oranges but if I compared the Diablo III Beta to the Guild Wars 2 Beta...Both are very good games but the Guild Wars 2 Beta had about 100x more things to checkout and get involved in!

I had mucho fun in the 2nd Guild Wars beta weekend!  It's shaping up to be one damn fine game!!  

Just a shame it's over now... cry

It pays to go adventuring within the massive lakes in Guild Wars 2!  You find things like an underwater village hiden within a rather long cave!

 Even in it's current 'beta' state this game is very well done!  Honestly it's hard to go back to Diablo III after playing this...

I give it my highest recomendations for anyone looking for a very enjoyable, and rewarding, in-depth semi RPG!

I haven't played guild wars 2 yet (No cash lol) but it is my kind of game :D

Those screen shots are awesome, So good to look at! Luckily for us all, There are a ton of youtube videos to view, Which keeps me occupied.

I still load up guild wars on occasion but there is not really much left to do so it's hard to keep playing especially when guild wars 2 is really so close!
