As a departure from BigDog’s DM-1on1-Dojo (which is at night), this one is during the day with a sunny skybox and cool mountains in the surrounding scene, huge courtyard outside, vegetation, trees, spires, statues, wall, ancient writings, huge building and small round building (possibly more buildings, but I missed that part). I like the sunlight streaming through tall windows (watch out when spectating though), inside and outside oriental architecture, bird sounds, teleporters, hidden teleporters and custom jumppads. I thought the music choice should have been more of an oriental piece and the default player load of 12 a little high (not for the map) for what seemed to be a low number of weapon pickups. It might be a gamble going outside, so I would just stay inside. The gameplay is a mixer of tight and wide-open places, so watch yourself inside the buildings and study the map layout before trying online. The bots can be tough, especially Chaos_Snake, Cyclone, Homer, Mekkor and Vorpeyl.
Great and awesome custom music that not only fits the map perfectly, but is the same name as the map. The cool skybox really brings out the atmosphere of a nighttime jailbreak with the planet, asteroids, moons, stars and clouds. The area inside also has atmosphere created with steam, open cells, grates, ripped grating, slime from sewers, lighting (shadows on floor) and graffiti of central area as well as fence, skybox and radio towers of rocket launcher outside area. There are some tight corridors that lead to a utility/loading dock area that you need to watch your back in. The gameplay in this one is mostly tight with some open area relief in certain areas. The bots get spammy with 12 players, so I’m thinking 8-10 players as a default player load would be better.
THX SkaarjMaster for the review ;)
It was my first maps on unreal engine so there is lot's of mistake on it, especially on the gameplay, but their design still not bad
