Graphics/textures taking time to appear in game

Hi guys just here to ask for help or advice on trying to fix a problem.

It's a graphics thing it takes 1 min or sometimes more to get the textures clear or detailed in other words.

I'll post a pic of what I mean when I fetch one.

Here:

I notice the same stuff on my rig (take more or less time depending to the map I have loaded), I presume it's the time to the graphic engine to render the LOD of each stuffs on the map.

That's casued from the videocard taking a while to load the textures into memory. It shouldn't take longer than 10 seconds on average though.

It started when I change over to the full release of MapMixer 3.0 but that shouldn't be the problem.

I have alot of custom content settings at max and so fourth so it could be in that area.

But then again the characters have loaded in textures also I have had the demo guy on custom characters before yesterday as the game was trying to load but then they change to right characters.

This behavior seem to be related to textures mapping in the GPU memory.

I notice that a while ago & depending on your GPU & drivers version the results changes from maps to maps. You just have to be patient mate unless there is a tweak in the engine ini I'm not aware of ;)

Only thing I changed was the fps in the ini.

Anyway I think I fix the problem I just force the Characters to load in the Z client menu in the mapmixer.

Fixes the textures and the demo guy problem only takes 5 to 10 seconds now thanks for the help guys.
