Linux dedicated server on 64-bit linux systems...?

Hi !

Well, my server contract ends in a few months, and I have to rent a new root server.
I am thinking of a 64-bit system for my next server.

So my question is:
Does the UT3 Linux dedicated server v2.1 work on 64-bit linux systems?
Anyone heard of this?

Ok..., did a test in a SuSE 11.1 64-bit VM... It seems to work. biggrin
By the way: UT3 server in the VM had nice performance, would have never thought that! smile

THX anyway...

Yeah..., I love VMware! Best thing for testing complicated things.
The last days before, I worked out a way to resize the inode size of Ext3 filesystem with help of VMware. The new SuSE servers all have inode size 256 by default which makes trouble with my backup software. All "experts" in other forums said that it is not possible to do this resizing on an installed system, but I found the solution now, hahaha
VMWare is COOL headbang.gif

I was thinking about putting a uT3 server up, but as I understand most host use the window version for server ut3
Does the linux have to be run from my machine? or do some hosts support linux?
have a great day
