Legacy is an inspired remake of Unreal!(or as much as I can)
It's a huge task to undertake so I'd never probably finish it but I plan on attempting the first few levels to see how they turn out and if I'm still enjoying myself I'll keep going until I loose interest.
First I gotta work out a few things to see if I have the capable skills. (see things I need to learn)

Looking good so far As you said, not a 1 to 1 remake but it has it's own touch.You plan on doing it just like me, eh? Releasing the first map, see if it is "popular", get to work on the next map. Keep at it!

I can say that scaling & layout look very accurate, meshing is also nice
TBH, personally, I prefer the lighting of the original. I never liked strong, to much constrasted colors, no offense m8.

PS: And how did you make the fog in the airducts? I just can't figure out how to make it, I couldn't find an option for that in the volumes, did they change that? I just can't figure out how to make a fog volume, can't find a tutorial for that...

Hey Nice work LPS! I really like the bright colours in your scene. Its looks good enough to play. With such a large project have you broken your progress into mile stones? Are you making the levels linearly or some other heierachy?
My plan is to go through each map, until I finish or go onto other things so this will be linear like the original with most of the essentials but some gameplay stuff will changed due my limited knowledge in adding models and animating.
I can't do things like the original Nali Pali people or the giant that you go up against. However I do have some substitutes for this in mind. I have a nice bit of freedom as it's not an authentic remake!
thoses "epured" german versions should be very frustrating (if u know it is...)

I suggest you use the non lighned material on the Liandri support, the meshes with various small lights. At least try it & see how it look
yeah ur "ambient" darkness is what i really miss from old Unreal & ut...was a short week this week...monday...tue...hm......friday!lolz...
