Some of your ideas skaarj will possibly be implemented. I want life in the map like insects, birds and fish which are possible with emitters to an extent. I like your suggestions of the other animals too however I'm not a moddler so I am unable to make them myself. At some point when a moddler/animator joins ranks with Sly and I these things may be possible. If you haven't already, checkout Sly's more authentic remake here.
Finally an update...yes this project is not dead! After a break with some distractions I've made some more progress on this map...
I've been tweaking the water in the Ny Leve's map to make it easier on the eyes. I've also worked out how to add animated fish and birds emitters to add 'life' to the map which was much needed.

For those who liked my remake of the Vortex Rikers and were eagerly awaiting the re-imagination of the second Unreal map...I'm happy to report that my remake of Ny Leve's Falls is finally seeing the final stages of development!
Great work so far! regarding the disruption pistol: A "must have"! The size of player weapon is good, the size of the pistol holded by the AI in front of you is a way too big in my opinion - it looks a bit clumsy because of that. Anyway, the w.i.p. pictures are highly promising. Disc space is already reserved. :)

I've fixed the file conflict with nELsOn's healing fruit pickup will soon be re-releasing the Multi-Player variants of Ny Leve's Legacy.
I, and some other helpful chaps, have been working on some 'things' that will work very nicely with the upcomming release of the Single Player version of Ny Leve's Falls and I'll be re-releasing a tweaked version of the single player variant of my Vortex Rikers remake around the same time.
More details to be released sometime in the near future.
There's been a delay in updates for two reasons. First one is that I've been distracted by other games and real life and the other is due to 'making this mod a bit more authentic'.
So here's a real update for those who still pass by!
A good chap, over at the Epic forums, by the name of Iman Shabani has helped me with the alt-fire coding for the Dispersion Pistol. So using that along side mAlkAv!An's nice Dispersion Pistol model we've got a working Dispersion Pistol for the mod. It still needs to be animated and tweaked though, so it's still a work in progress.
In addition to that mAlkAv!An has also put his superb talent to good use and surprised me with a nice looking AutoMag model to use with the mod. So upon re-release of the Ny Leve's Multiplayer maps and the official release of the single player version of Ny Leve's Falls you guys will get to use two of the original weapons.

I've finally managed to get my remake of Ny Leve's Falls to a point where I'm happy for it to be released!
Yes there are still bugs and other things that just refuse to behave but I wish to make the step into Unreal Engine 4 and didn't want to commit to that until this map was in a playable state!
Nah sorry Mate, no Nali characters.
I'm aware that at least one person was working on Nali models but that was over a year ago so I have no idea if he ever got anywhere with them.
I'm happy if you want to use the weapons in the Unreal [X] pack. You may want to clean up the animations for the Dispersion Pistol. (I can provide the coding and uncooked files if you want them)
As Unreal Engine 4 is now out my plan was to continue my work in the new engine.
Looks like someone is getting a group together to remake Unreal in the new engine, so assuming they allow me contribute, Legacy will continue in spirit in that remake.
