fraqn fun level!! just played a couple of games on it , and i was immediatly comfortable with it i firstly asked me two questions: why the thingpads overthere in that nice but risky place ??? ... than i asked me why the sniper wasnt more accessible??
....and suddently i decided to try the lifts!...all was suddently answered....lol...what a festival it was over thoses lifts! the layout is great, the athmo is unrealish and the visuals are oldscooled! well done
lil part i like less are thoses nice flammes behind the "glass".... hey wtf? is there some smoke going through the glass?? +.+....lol
perhaps some textures are a lil "too simple" (walls n ceilings) but okay it s oldscooled !

Yea, the level was actually designed more for online play then for bot support. If you would grab the flag and miss the jump from the elevator, but still manage to kill everybody in the flagroom, you could still go around the back, up the pad, grab the thightpads and try the elevator again. You could go enter midfield with low health but since its more open oriented i thought in online defenders would auto camp around the middle waiting for a low health flag carrier.
Jup, I needed sniper in the highest place possible, and since it could provide each base for a pretty good sniper spot up the ramp, I fits ^_^
Yea, I noticed that as well. I was looking through the Envy_Effects and Envy_Effect_Level (and both its 2 other respective packages) that I thought flames would make a nice addition. But its a 64x512 gap which might have been too small for 10 emitters each ;p
Also, I also noted, in the blue base, the smoke through the water fall appears through the light in the lower section seen from the blue base right side.

Yea they are. Just a few plain colored materials with some easy textures from CGtextures.com. Edited through the material setup in UT3. Nothing really advanced or really pretty, because I wanted to keep things easy and smooth :)
At first it looks like a Lego map but it’s not; nice skybox, cones on top, stripes, trim, patterns, fire, music and sounds. It’s a simple CTF map with many paths, some z-axis, good flow and good weapon placement. The bots could be better though; I thought they were fairly easy. Author also known as Darkn3ss is QnL ;)
