I'll start off with two songs of Deaths album 'individual thought patterns'. It has a very unique sound due to the fretless bass played by steve digiorgio.
Heaviness of roos bloody roots can hardly be surpassed. When my guitar is tuned low I give it a go from time to time, too :) Demo version sounds quite different at some points, espacially the verses.
It's been yonks since I listened to any Sepultura or Machine Head's 1st album. Davidian and Death Church were definately tha best tracks on that album!
My 2cents for this thread is Pray for Plagues! I play it onRock Band 3, while rather heavily pissed on friday nights!
BMTH surprised me with their 1st album as I didn't know the British were capable of playing bloody good modern Black Metal! Unfortunately their other albums have gone a bit more 'mainstreamy' and are nowhere as 'black' as their 1st album.
Now for some most excellent Auzzie 'bluesy' grindcore "Blood Duster"
I saw these guys play live twice in my younger years!
Last but not least...Rock Band introduced me to this band! I've been listening to their albums while working on the 2nd Legacy map!
This is off their Feathergun album...which is pretty good but their Eidolon is much better! I highly recommend checking them out!

Nice, this is pretty well made Guitars might be a bit to 'strong' but that's just a side note. From my personal feeling the solo does not fit very well, but then again the vocals are still missing what can change the whole thing :)

Yeah I agree, but he still a learning guitarist, so he needs to work more on his solo's.
Gonna be some sick screams and low grunts inside of it ^^
This was on the Roadrunner Records sample album, guess it's time for some new albums here, right now I'd go for that Dream Theater album with this song, need to find out what it's called first. Narcissistic Cannibal was also on that album, but I already have that KoRn album so whatever. :P

Cog - Bitter Pills
Spoiler
Unaware of the model, I was taught to follow. Baptised through the grapevine, Rescued by a daydream, Back down where I, Found the open door.
The open door, I was before. The open door.
And from the maps that I'd followed, Came the thoughts that I'd borrowed. A bitter pill I swallowed, Cleaned my mind out, So I could explore. Plagiarised my reactions, All my life an abstraction, But if I'm more than memories, Makes me wonder, Who I was before. I was before, The open door. I was before.
I know what I am, In this light I stand, Can I overcome, That space that time demands? Reincarnation, I'm back from everywhere, Know that I'll become, The thoughts that lead me there.
Turned my back on the drama, And ostracised my karma, I threw away all my armour, Trying to find out, Who I was before.
I know what I am, In this light I stand, Can I overcome, The time that space demands? Reincarnation, I can't remember, Who I was, Who I was!
