Just a thread to plug some quite addictive and fun indie games that I've purchased through steam!
First game is Nimbus. There is a constant gravity at work here so you have to keep your momentum going otherwise you'll get stranded and die.
Nimbus is well thought out and a lotta fun!
Video and Demo available at link!
Second game is Solar 2. Ever wanted to be a star and fly around the universe creating your own solar systems and multiple star systems.
I'm very impressed with this game atm! You start as an asteriod colliding with other asteriods so you can gain mass until you become a planet. Eventually you then absorb other asteriods until you become a life supporting planet which then automatically builds defense ships that will attack other systems, enemies. Eventually you'll become a star with orbiting planets etc.. until you become a black hole!
Highly addictive and hell of a lotta fun! Well worth the $9!!

are thoses ones that was on steam one week ago? noticed em because the very low price (round 10 $) wasnt it a sort of space flying simulation ? perhaps solar2 ...? looking really nice
Yup. In Solar 2 you fly around the galaxy/universe as a asteriod, planet, star or black hole sucking up matter to become bigger and also collecting orbiting asteriods, planets with which you can conquer other systems with.
It's hell of a lotta fun to use your own planets and battering rams to knock opponents planets out of their orbit so you can catch them in yours! Fun factor 10 and salute for this game!
-Crappy Graphics but really fun if you take the time to explore the options and experiment. Its like an rpg without the fantasy and magic. Hack and Slash in 1st person with a whole new level of tactics.
