Let us know if it has made any advancements in the CoD series. Personally these games have been getting stale now so I'd like to think they breathed some new life into the series. I really liked CoD4 but the last 2 got a bit repeative and just became a grind I found. The new MoH game pretty much falls into this catagory. It looks quite pretty but it the same gameplay as the 6 before it...

Personal though, I like to find the same gameplay when I try a new opus of the same franchise... would you like if UT change it's gameplay?
I don't want many huge changes in the cod series to be made gameplay wise. I would like them to get rid of tactical nukes altogether and attack dogs, though.
The one change I wish would be made is a way to not have to choose between crouching/going prone and meleeing using the right analog stick. If only there was a way to do both...

Good point Nova! If they change the base formula then it wouldn't feel right for the series! Personally, myself, I'm finding the series a bit stale. I've recently been playing Lost Planet 2. Quite a fun game, and I love jumping into the powered suits for extra mayhem. Not as good as the first Lost Planet but still fun!
Regarding Duke Nukem..he's definately comming! Gearbox has purchased the Duke franchise and have employed up a bunch of the guys who were working on it and they've formed a sub-studio under Gearbox to finish the game. Apparently some of the guys were still working on the game at home when all hell broke loose! The game apparently is very imersive and contains a full blown pinball game amongst other things. (funilly enough this is one of the reasons why it took forever to make the game) Now that Gearbox are in control they've been given a deadline date for completion. Anything that can't be done within that deadline won't be in the game! I believe it'll be out first half 2011.
just started the solo campaign, woo, that's intense ! i'm in "hard" level of difficulty, I cant imagine what it would be in "veteran" settings lol
There is no time to camp lol just run and frag all enemies or it your die, I like this gameplay, very intense and hardcore ! you have to take yours decisions really quick, it's immersive.
And the story is quit original, but I let you discover that ;)
I have experiment some glitch and bug visuals, otherwise graphicaly prety much done, a bit underneath MoH 2010.
I got this game a few hours ago and so far the online is nice. My favorite addition is swan diving to go prone.
There is one flaw that will drastically lessen the amount of time I spend on it. There is no quickscoping! They intentionally nerfed it and now my favorite thing is gone!
Besides that the game is still very fun and I will get some good milage on it but I will be returning to mw2 every now and then to quickscope with my buddies.

Apparently this game made about $360 million on the first day. EA are laughing all tha way to tha bank on this one. For comparison Avatar (most succesful movie ever) only grossed $72 million on it's opening weekend.
I had a chance to play Black Ops today and admittidly I'm quite impressed! It's a lot better than MoH IMO. I found MoH a bit boring and was expecting the same from Black Ops but it has proven me wrong! This game is a lot more creative in the missions department and a lot more intense than MoH. Graphical wise, I think they're on par but CoD seems to be a lot more varied which give it an edge over MoH. The Veitnam levels were quite interesting and a good challenge!
I don't like Activision any more than ea, although they do seem to get more and more of the better games.
The main reason I dont like activision is just that I don't like their attitude towards their developers. For example: Activion wanted infinity ward to create a modern warfare 3 for november 2011 and infinity ward decided they wanted to make something else instead. Since infinity ward owns the modern warfare rights, activision needs them to make it. So activision goes ahead and threatens to sue if a modern warfare 3 isn't made. Needless to say, mw3 is now in development.
When I was watching E3 over the summer I did happen to like EA's press conference. I'm not sure if activision had one.
