damn...another game that's sucking up my valuable mapping time.. disbelief

Anyone ever a fan of the Battlefield series?  If so BC2 is quite a nice addition to the series.  As much as I hate EA n DICE(for what they did to the Desert Combat mod group) they done a good job on this game!
I managed to pick the game up for $66 and gave it a couple of rounds last night.  Good intense action all round and it brings back fond memories of my old 1942 and BF2 days!
Fortunately after getting my arse wooped I managed to get some back once I got my bearings.  wink
If ya happen to get the game add me as a friend!

LOL! I've only played the first 3 missions in Single Player so I can't really comment.
Multiplayer is where this game shines! beer.gif

I am a big BF fan. Never really played 1942 (playing R6: Raven Shield/Jedi Outcast). Played enough Vietnam, more than enough BF 2 (still play to this day) and some 2142.

There are plenty of nice additions to BC 2 and the game has it's moments. I didn't like Rush at first, but once I accepted the game mode for what it is, I dig it, That is as long as your team is attempting to do it's job.

That being said, my biggest complaint with the game is lack of maps and the size of them (mainly for conquest). I am not a big fan of "forced gameplay" and those tiny maps (compared to BF 2) does that a bit too much.  Also, they ways the released the so-called map packs was stupid on many levels.

The SP was good enough and some levels have some nice replay value.  Not a big fan of most SP, so what I can say.

Looking forward to the new map pack coming out in the near future and the "expansion pacl", based in Vietnam.
