It's no spectacular map, but after the q3dm17 one of the most played spacemap of Q3. Sometimes I stillplay Q3, and on my favorite server this map is very popular. Was always fun with 10-16 or more players. Many players falling into space when hit while jumping, and a kind of massacre in the inner rooms with gauntlet against rocket players, lol. I really miss the gauntlet... That's the reason why I have replaced the Impact Hammer with the Hacker on my UT3 server, that brings some old feelings back..., and the Impact Hammer in my opinion is an absolute useless weapon at all.

seem to be a nice map; simple layout with efficient gameplay!
never seen anykind of remekae of this one ; or i missed it but....i always have an eyes on epics
it dont seem to be too complex to do a remake of this one do u know if it exist a converter for the bsp part at least from quake to ut3?
and for the hammer u re so right; only peeps that wasnt familiar to the shiled gun from ut2k4 can find this s*** usefull; even for jumps it work randomly ..... it s quite funny on maps to see hammer spam lol.... u just have to follow the noise or to run if it s too close from yer "back" :p
Hmm, I had a converter once because I wanted to remake a Q3 map for HL2. But I can't remember what file output it had, and how it was called. But one thing I rememmber: I totally gave up after I saw the result that the converter gave me, rofl.... was some kind of random brushes-mix...
But there may be a small chance that a version of this map for UT2004 exists. While searching in google I found this link:

what a shame that gamesserver have "bined" their database ;i have other free redirect on ut3 but it s with ut3 maps only...i ll try to have a look if i can find it
btw excellent idea to use a ut2k4 version; the converter ut2004/ut3 work like a charm ; )
....work like a charm for the bsp part; the meshes it s always fun to addapt new ones and too easy to use converted ones ....imho...and in allways the result is better with ut3 static meshes

Hehe, I think you're right, but like I wrote before: I don't know much about UT mapping, the UnrealEd always was a secret for me. I did never more with it than search for secrets in some maps, and for building the Soundz packages for my UT3 server. I did a bit more in the the Ravenshield Editor, which was based on the old UnrealED, and I must say that I never could handle this Editor in the same way like I have used the Hammer Editor. And atm I do not have the necessary concentration to learn new mapping techniques. It's hard enough not to forget what I know about the Source Engine and Hammer, because due to my concentration problems I only can work on my current project a few hours/month...
Blitz m8, please, it was not my intention to find someone who builds a map for me, lol. But since I knew that some people here know more about the UT3 community than me, I just wanted to ask if someone has heard anything about a remake of this map. I am an old Quake 3 fan, and I'll always search for Quake 3 remakes to install them on my server!
yeah ut2k3 and ut2k4 use the same editor; it s UT2 both so u can mix maps from one version to the other...quite confusing though haha^^
and for the map np; if i have some free moments i ll try to convert it and watch what part will be converted if it s a complete bsp conversion and if the ut2k4 contain a large part of bsp i ll give it a go; but if it s like morpheus 3 it was a pain; only the top of the scrappers was in bsp and 90 % of the map was unconverted static meshes....was a beta of the converter with only bsp+brush conversion :(
so i m sure u dont search someone to build maps for you haha...i just want to thx you to have share with us that very fun map; i m gonna install it on our ut2k4 server just to see how it run online :p

lol yes i use the V0.22 of this one and habitually i have no probs ; and when i have probs i use a private ed that sended me XtremXP (UT3 Converter2-V0.1b) and it worked always like a charm...but here it seem something is fraqd somewhere (perhaps because it come from a converted version it self...) i ll try to pm xtremxp but i think he s not very active theses days

"The BouncyMap 2003" is a cool remake of the q3dm16, but it would be nice if you could place the Rocket Launcher and the Rocket Ammo like it was in the original Quake3 version:

and if u re familiar to another editor.....it will be really easy to use this one; u ll just have to deal with the classical problems (try your map on a "bugged game"& mutli installs ) i m not familiar to other editors but i have try me on ut2 to compare....no way ! the UT3 ed is tip top and have "natural" commands i m still a noob on it but after around 1 year use i feel 100% comforatable with it and i m ready to wait UT4.....for the next ten years

Actually my man...I was gonna ask if you guys would care if i made it a skyscraper. There is more assets i could use for that theme. The low grav would be coz your getting sucked into the black hole above while the moon is being ripped apart below
Ive done the bsp for this map. i guess im going for similar to the UT2004 version. I will start meshes asap. Hopefully ill be done by the weekend coz my wife has my baby Monday...LOL Damm selfish if you ask me, she might have checked to see if i was busy.
