Just to be sure everything is ok. (I have change nothing on the map except the lighting, the Udamage seq, the music and one BV to allow wall jump to reach the Shield belt)

Holy Moly!!! This map looks very nice, especially the lighting! Dunno why, but I always been a fan of night maps. Call me romantic, but hell I love it! Keep up the good work and I can't wait when it is done. :)

Looks very nice Nova :)

Just my thought on the first pic: The purple end color seems less likeable in comparison to the second one.
I think that that is due to all of those epic gold trims before. It does not really seem to accentuate as good as on the second picture.
Perhaps its making it just a little bit too dark.

Ah well, its still in progress ;) So I guess this will work out anway. Just my thought on it!

Furtheron, looking epic! Can't wait to see the end result.

Don't worry, the first pic is under a pp effect during the UD seq. I have to reworke that cause on the UOF night edition, lots of peps had disliked it.

I was secretly hoping this would happen, I love the original Aero but that sky really brings out the lighting to a whole new level!

Well bro, I must say the NE is almost perfect biggrin

You did some changes in the geometry didn't you because I see more trimming & open spots than before confuse The horizon / fog / materials are also better smile

Only things that I found a bit to much is the top part wind sound which I found to loud. I know the map is open at the top so it's logic to hear wind but it is a bit loud imho. Except that, Bravo Seb, this is a keeper when final.

Note: I've test without music but I'll play more with music on.

Excellent work my couzin !

lol, I think not, or, it was minor, maybe more a question of feeling provide by the night atmosphere ?

I have try to set sound volume according to music, but I have to check without and see if I will loud it, thx for the suggestion ;) And yeah, test it with music to tell me what you think ;)

Excellent work my couzin !

 THX cousin !

I just played the map and it does look really cool at night. I do have two suggestions (one minor, one a bit major).

Minor point=Some times I think a little brighter lighting would make the map "pop" a bit more?

Bit Major Point=I think all of the pickups should be redone so it feels a little more different than the original version. I do this when ever I have a day and night version and I think it keeps game play a bit fresher.

Other than that, it's a fun map to play!

Actually I like the dark atmosphere on it, but you think more brightness all over the map or at some specifics spots?

You mean just switch some weapons, or re-spread all pickups arround the map ? -Extra work in perspective damn !-

 THX !

Bump : Just a question, is the preview pic, the player count and the author name are well set and displayed on the menu ?

The preview pic, player count and author name worked fine for me.

I think the map looks great (lighting), but I think there are a few areas (or maybe certain color lights) that "can" be brighter.  It's one of those things you would have to try out.  It almost seems the light from the sky blends too evenly with the lights int he map.  But maybe I need to play it again.

As for the pickups, I mean re-spread all pickups (maybe just change the power up as it is in a good location).  I think it's worth it as I would want a fresh layout to go with the fresh night setting.

I played the map again and maybe I was half asleep when I played it? The lighting does look really good so I will change my comment to "I wonder what it would look like with some brighter lighting". If you are happy with it, I can't find any good reason to change it.

Also, the player can fly to a spot where you can see a black texture.  There might be more, but this is all I found.

Just played another round among few maps.

Playercount, author & preview pic are fine (preview pic is awesome!) smile

Music track is awesome too biggrin

Only things I've noticed :

- Music is a bit to loud. My volume is at 7 & it it drastically louder than any other maps. You can easily decrease the volume by 50%.

- The wind sound on the upper level is also too loud. I had a hard time earling the announcements.

Except those, it's a damn fine job, a keeper aww

Cool, it's home made ;)

I have already set the wind sound, I will recheck the music volume, but by memory my volume on game is set to 5, that's why we have different feeling for that point.

Except those, it's a damn fine job, a keeper aww

 THX !
