UT2004 Patch 3369 for 64-bit Windows (Vista / 7)

I have found a patch for Unreal Tournament 2004 in 64bit computers. I don't know if there is a performance boost, but it runs better than in 32bit mode. if you install this patch you can still use 32bit version of UT2004, so you can return if you expect problem with 64bit. I used it and I have found no problems with it.

Here's a link: http://www.filefront.com/4431454/UT2004-Win64-v3369-Patch/

I have some experience with this 64 bit .EXE I tried running it on various O/S

Windows Hone Server, Windows Server 2003, etc. Which might be the only benefit i can imagine would be having access to more physical RAM memory (getting past the 32Bit O/S 4GB memory limitation) and perhaps running a dedicated server otherwise as far as FPS and such its much slower than its 32bit counter part.

As far as gaming in general 64 bit isn't optomized at this point - which is a shame because the potential is incredible.

@Bl!tz: I play in 1440x900 resolution and it works fine
@1xTrEmE: I agree with you, potential is very big, but I have some 64bit games like Crysis & Crysis WARHEAD

Hey Bl!tz, I would like to help you, I found this myself. So, go to the UT2004/System folder, find and open UT2004.ini. Select all text with Ctrl+A and copy it. Then open ut2004-win64.ini. Again select all text and overwrite it with text from UT2004.ini. I hope this will help.

héhéhé....finally i just had to set the resolution on 1050x1680 in the UT64.ini and hop it work like a charm; thx for the idea scythe

...and BTW i dunno how or why but the aiming is seriously better under ut64; quite funny because since i updated my os from xp 32 bits to vista 64 i always had the feeling that my aim was fraqd somewhere...no doubts now; it s just a fact....headhunter announcements are back :p

Hi guys, long time no post or see,

But I have to say thanks for this link and DL

Just had a quick practice, as I installed 2k4 for abit of fun, I don't have much time for many games, and i felt it was harder to aim. But now, WOW

I have only one problem with it. It often starts in windowed mode. This problem was in 32bit Win XP too so I don't know what is it, because on my notebook (XP 32bit) it starts always Fullscreen. Has anyone this problem ?

ALT+Enter to get fullscreen mode, then immediately exit the game (do not play !)  and restart it. The game always remembers the last mode for the next start...wink
