Just a generic thread for new CPU news....

Just when you thought 6 cores weren't enough...AMD unveils their 12core processor.  LOL
They cheated a bit, as it's 2 6core processors slapped together, but it still sounds impressive.  Shame the benchmarks aren't as impressive though...  LOL

Well Intel publish there 32 core in 2008 / 2009 (don't remember exactly).

Multiprocessing is the future...
