hi mates

i have "recently"discover that they exist two different sources of map infos:

1 worldproperties/world info/mapinfo

2 ini file

mapmixer actually use both but i cant succed to get the "1" working; i have add the player num max & min and the authors name but the authors name is not displayed in the "quick session menu"
i have seen that steve and seb get thoses infos working as they are displayed
is there a tip to get them working?
my world properties "folder" is named " world properties_2" and i have no idea why it s not "world properties_0" or "world properties_1"....and i hope it s not the source of my problem because i have no idea why...

i have follow the mapmixer author recommandations...with no success !

Hey mate,

I don't know about mapmixer settings but if you don't take that into account & want to make it work 100% all the time, it's damn easy.

- Set the properties in the world info as you normaly do (write your author name, set playercounts).

- Do a build all. You don't need to cook it if you want to see if everything is fine ingame because the uncook & cooked file as the same name anyway.

- Put your files (ut3, etc) in the custom customaps folder & load the game. Exit the game after it as load.

- The ini file will be there since the enginge generate one if the file wasn't there.

- Edit the file, write the description. make sure there is a return at the end of the description.

- Copy the line NumPlayers=2 to 6 players Author: Steve Loiselle (Stevelois)

- That's it biggrin

where should i copy this line? in the ini i have already add it but it s what i wrote in world properties that isnt displayed
